TMS therapy is an FDA-approved treatment for depression with a high success rate. Thousands of studies have shown that TMS therapy has a success rate of at least 68%, compared to just 37.5% for medication.

Traditional medications used for depression have fairly low success rates, especially if the first one or two medications don’t provide adequate relief. When depression does not respond to medication, it is referred to as treatment-resistant depression.

More studies show that approximately 50% to 60% of people with depression who have tried and failed to receive benefit from medications experience a clinically meaningful response with TMS therapy, making it an effective treatment for treatment-resistant depression.
